Over the past four decades, Dwayne has been instrumental in Norweld’s success. He’s seen our expansion, acclimated through numerous changes, and brought his experience and dedication with him on each project. Yes, there surely are likely some turns and detours along the route (as is the way with any great adventure!), but by and large, the prevailing tone is one of achievement, with so much positive impact, all thanks to the diligence of Dwayne.
“40 years with any company is a big deal” -Lisa. Leon laughed wistfully over the spunky beginnings of the career of Dwayne. In his own way, Leon described: “I fired him three times, four times, and he kept coming back! Quit, then he kept coming back. Dwayne Joslin, ah that’s a good story.” Dwayne recalled: “One time I didn’t even know I was fired, just showed up the next day and kept working!” These little stories say a great deal of Dwayne’s determination and perhaps a little of the Norweld charm that people return for. Aside from the comedic start, Dwayne’s influence on Norweld is enormous. His experience and knowledge have proved invaluable as our company continues to grow, as well as in the quality of work that we do. In looking forward, we value Dwayne’s willingness to mentor and guide the next generation of staff for Norweld. His insight and experience, accumulated as an ironworker for 40 years, is a treasure for our team.
