Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality structural steel projects. Your main duties will involve:
- Reading and understanding complex structural drawings and blueprints.
- Fitting and welding steel parts precisely according to drawing specifications.
- In addition, you will expertly use various welding tools, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welders.
- Safely operating overhead cranes to move materials around the shop.
- Above all, you must follow all company Health & Safety rules to help maintain a safe workplace.
- Assisting with other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications for Success
To be a great fit for this role, you should have:
- Strong, proven skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Good mechanical knowledge related to the steel fabrication process.
- The ability to easily read blueprints and understand all welding symbols.
- Furthermore, you must be capable of working well on your own and as a positive member of a team.
- A dependable and punctual nature is essential for this position.
