Nor-Weld’s expertise in structural steel shone through in the Brian Orser Arena renovation. This iconic community landmark, originally Twin Lakes Arena, required significant structural enhancements. We provided steel fabrication and erection for new building extensions, including the precisely engineered framework anchoring the east and north facades. Our team delivered robust and reliable structural steel solutions, ensuring the success of this large-scale project and supporting the arena for future generations.
Martyr’s Shrine of Huronia
Some of the hurdles we faced while completing the Martyr’s Shrine of Huronia were intimidating, though nothing our team couldn’t accomplish. The intricate design and complicated structure of the development process required an incredible amount of patience and engineering expertise to implement. We are proud to have achieved the installation in a timely manner that aligned with our clients needs.
Rama Dream Catcher
Our work on the Rama Dream catcher was instrumental for acquiring the 2023 Guinness World Record for the world’s largest dream catcher. This demonstrates our expertise in large-scale fabrication. We engineered a durable, weather-resistant structure from steel, replicating the dream catcher’s intricate webbing using specialized techniques. Meticulous fabrication and on-site reassembly ensured both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. This achievement showcases our ability to deliver complex projects with precision and excellence.
Muskoka Lakes, Cottage Boat House
Building the Muskoka Lakes Cottage Boathouse presented unique challenges. Its elevated, lakeside location required careful planning and execution, from material delivery across the uneven terrain to ensuring structural stability on the sloped site.
